Kids Connect combines high energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls K-5th grade on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  The Gospel is presented through a combination of games, multimedia, funny characters, interactive songs, and an illustrated message that captivates kids’ attention while showing them that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!  It is our goal to create an environment where kids can become Powerful in Prayer, Responsive in Worship, Spirit Empowered, Biblically Fluent, Actively Serving, Bold in Faith, Giving Selflessly and Living Like Christ.

Child’s Safety

Our goal is to provide a safe and easy drop off and pickup process for parents and kids.  Enter through the front doors of the PAG Worship Center and head downstairs to Kids Connect.  As you come down the stairs you will see a check-in station.  Returning parents, we will print your child’s label and the bar code sticker for you.   At the end of service, give your sticker to your child’s leader/teacher and they will release your child to you.  Safety of each individual child is our primary concern at Pasadena Assembly of God.

Current Series
Prayer is such a big part of being a Christian.  It’s one of the coolest things ever.  Prayer is when we get to talk to God, and He gets to talk to us.  It’s  a vital part of our spiritual lives.

For a lot of kids, prayer seems like such a hard thing to do.  Many kids think there is no way they can pray to God.  They don’t think they know how.  They have seen some adults pray and they think they have to do it EXACTLY like those adults do.

Kids see people praying with big words, in a loud voice, or in front of a crowd and they think that they have to pray like that in order for their prayers to be “good enough.”  Well, that’s just not true.  There is not a certain way that you have to talk to God.  God is our best friend.  He just wants us to pray to Him in any way we can.

Jesus’ disciples once asked Him, “Lord teach us to pray.”  So, Jesus taught them a sample prayer to use as a guide to help them know HOW to pray.  We call it “The Lord’s Prayer.”  In this series, your children will be learning how to pray.  It’s not “THE ONLY WAY” to pray, but it’s a sample prayer that Jesus gave to the disciples that we can follow.

Each week we are going to look at “The Lord’s Prayer” piece by piece and see what Jesus was teaching the disciples about how to pray.  It is our goal that each child will have the entire Lord’s Prayer memorized by the end of this series.

Lesson Info Many children’s have big plans for when they “grow up.”  Some dream of being a fireman, policeman, princess, or scientist.  As they grow, they pursue those plans wholeheartedly.

We all have plans and dreams for our lives, but we must never forget that we are to seek God’s will for our lives, not our own.  Sometimes God’s will lines up with our plans, but other times it is completely different.  One thing is for sure, God’s plan is always the perfect plan.

This week, your child learned how to seek and follow God’s will for their life.  Through the story of Samuel in the temple, they learned how to hear God’s voice and obey His will.
